Reading without an account
You can read Evangelho Fácil without creating an account. Reading preferences and your last position may be stored locally in your browser.
Audience measurement
The site is prepared to use Google Analytics only when that integration is configured and you authorize measurement in the notice shown by Evangelho Fácil. The purpose is to understand, in aggregate, which pages and resources are most used so the project can be improved. If you choose “Not now”, Google Analytics is not loaded by this mechanism. Your choice is stored locally in the browser and can be removed when site data is cleared.
When you create an account
We collect only the data needed to provide the personal area: display name, email, password protected through cryptographic derivation, access sessions and the items you choose to sync, such as favorites, highlights, notes and progress.
Groups and Gospel at Home
When you create or join a group, we store meeting organization data, your role in the group and optional study history. The platform does not request or publish residential addresses or precise location. Approximate city/state is optional.
Private by default
Notes, favorites, highlights and personal history are not public by default. The public profile also starts disabled and is shown only when the person enables it.
Security
Sessions use HTTP-only and SameSite cookies, passwords are not stored in plain text, sensitive operations require origin validation and abuse limits are applied. Audit logs are used for sensitive operations and moderation.
Retention
Data needed for accounts and groups is kept while the account is active or while needed to provide the requested feature. Expired sessions and recovery tokens are removed by maintenance routines; used tokens may remain for up to 7 days for operational security. Closed reports may be retained for up to 1 year and security audit records for up to 2 years. When an account is deleted, sessions are closed and the main personal identifiers are de-identified.
Your rights
In “My area”, you can export your data or delete your account. Additional requests for access, correction or clarification may be sent through the official contact channel published by the project.
Minors
At this stage, account creation and group participation are restricted to people who declare they are 18 or older. Public reading remains open and does not require registration.
Sharing and third parties
We do not sell personal data. When authorized, audience measurement may use Google Analytics, which is also subject to Google policies. External videoconference links are defined by group organizers and follow the policies of the chosen external service.
Changes
This policy may be updated as new features are added. The update date will be maintained on this page.
